Register to Vote

Registering to vote, and making sure your registration is up-to-date is critical to your participation in our election process. This information is maintained by the Elections Division or the Clerk and Recorder for the county in which you reside. Please use the following links if you need to register, or to ensure your voter information is accurate:

Voter information is also available from the State of Colorado or from the Colorado Democratic Party.

To participate in the 2008 Primary Election, you must be registered to vote by Monday, July 14, 2008 (this is also the last day to change or withdraw from major political party affiliation, though registered unaffiliated electors may declare a major party affiliation at the polls).

Primary Election

In 2008, Colorado's Primary Election will be held
on Tuesday, August 12.

General Election

In 2008, the General Election will be held
on Tuesday, November 4.

Precinct Caucuses and County Assemblies

In Colorado, the election cycle begins with party Precinct Caucuses. Democrats attended their caucuses on February 5, 2008 in record numbers. Delegates elected at caucuses attended their County and Multi-county Assemblies on March 8 and 15, 2008.

Liz won 54% of the House District 6 votes at the Multi-county Assembly, accordingly her name will appear first on the August 12 Primary ballot.
